Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Biology Teacher to join their successful Science Faculty from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach highly motivated students in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Grammar School aged 11 to 18, with a co-educational sixth form. We are located in Poole, Dorset, close to the beautiful Jurassic Coast and New Forest National Park, offering an excellent quality of life.

About the Role:

We are looking for a teacher who can:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Biology lessons across KS3, KS4 and A-Level

  • Inspire a love for science and encourage curiosity, critical thinking and independence

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and events

  • Work as part of a close-knit, supportive Science team

You will be teaching in well-equipped laboratories with access to excellent resources and opportunities for professional development. Biology is a popular and well-regarded subject at Parkstone, with many students going on to study science-related courses at university.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Biology or related discipline

  • Someone who is passionate about science education and committed to student success

  • A reflective practitioner who values collaboration and is eager to develop professionally

  • A strong communicator with excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
