Graduate Cover Supervisor / Future Teacher Programme – Science

Are you passionate about Science and want to inspire the next generation of scientists? Join our Science department as a Graduate Cover Supervisor and gain hands-on experience as you work towards becoming a Science teacher.

This role offers you the chance to support the delivery of lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping students engage in experiments, discussions, and theoretical learning. You will work closely with qualified teachers to ensure students are engaged and making progress in their studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Science lessons and ensure students are engaged in the learning process.
• Assist with practical experiments, helping students understand scientific concepts.
• Provide support to students, ensuring they understand key scientific principles.
• Help teachers with lesson planning, resourcing, and classroom management.
• Observe classroom teaching, learning best practices for your future teaching career.
• Support students in their individual learning needs, offering guidance when necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
