Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools in Bristol (SEN Support)
Location: Various Primary Schools in and around Bristol
Positions Available: Full-Time, Part-Time, Day-to-Day, and Long-Term Opportunities

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work with primary school children, providing 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and help children achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have a range of SEN needs in both mainstream and SEN-specific primary schools. You will provide 1:1 support to ensure that students are able to engage with the curriculum and thrive in a learning environment that is tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to children with SEN, assisting with their learning and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to support student progress
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional support as needed
- Support the overall wellbeing of the children
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (Essential)
- Classroom experience is beneficial but not required
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage with children on a 1:1 basis
- No formal qualifications required, though any relevant qualifications are beneficial
- Flexibility and a positive attitude towards working in different school settings

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49.50, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
