Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Stafford (ST16)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2025 – End of Summer Term
Essential Requirements: Experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils
A welcoming Catholic primary school in the Stafford area has approached Teaching Personnel to help appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a temporary position. The role is set to begin in February 2025 and will continue until the end of the summer term.
The school takes great pride in its strong Catholic ethos and inclusive values, fostering a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. While the successful candidate does not need to be of the Catholic faith, they must be respectful of and committed to upholding the school’s ethos.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons to a Key Stage 2 class.
- Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and activities.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with varying needs and abilities.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a respectful, inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting the Catholic ethos of the school by contributing to its community-focused values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
