We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Bristol, providing essential support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities:

• Support children with SEN, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to suit individual needs
• Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to monitor children’s progress
• Ensure children’s safety and well-being throughout the school day
• Adapt teaching strategies to support children with diverse learning styles

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (classroom experience is not essential)
• A passion for supporting children with SEN and helping them succeed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly across different schools in Bristol
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Previous experience in an educational or care setting is an advantage

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
