Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next role? A welcoming primary school in Sunderland is seeking a reliable and passionate HLTA to cover PPA across the school.

Position Details:

• Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

• Location: Sunderland

• Start Date: 28th July

• Duration: Ongoing into the new academic year

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Pay Rate: Competitive, paid weekly

Responsibilities:

• Provide PPA cover across both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)

• Deliver engaging lessons and support learning across a variety of subjects

• Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment

• Collaborate with class teachers to maintain continuity of learning

• Support the development of pupils' academic and personal growth

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience

• Proven experience working across KS1 and KS2

• Confidence in delivering lessons and managing the classroom

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A proactive and flexible approach

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
