1:1 Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you a creative, dynamic and experienced Teaching Assistant?
We are currently looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to motivate and engage the students attending. The desired 1:1 Teaching Assistant will work in a one-to-one capacity with students with additional needs. This full time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.
Requirements
The desired 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:
- A desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- Relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- A patient and caring nature
- Good English and Maths skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent)
- Autism awareness training(desirable)
- Team Teach (desirable)
- Passionate individual, eager to gain teaching experience in Blyth
- Willingness to provide an environment that will help students reach their full potential, building a strong rapport with students
- Support their social and emotional needs

Salary:
- Teaching Personnel have competitive rates of pay up to £400 per week, which will increase once a permanent contract has been offered following a successful temporary period.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
