KS1 Teaching Assistant Needed – Sunderland
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sunderland for the summer term.
Location: Sunderland
Start Date: April 28th
Duration: Until July (potential to go permanent)
Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant (Year 1 & Year 2)
About the Role:
-
Provide general support in Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms
-
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
-
Support children with their learning and development
-
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment
Requirements:
✅ Ideally Level 3 qualified (but relevant experience will be considered)
✅ Experience working with KS1 pupils
✅ Passion for supporting children’s education and well-being
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
This is a full-time opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
