Physics Teacher required for Sixth Form in Waterlooville

Are you a passionate Physics teacher looking for a full-time position where you can inspire and engage students in Key Stage 5? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Waterlooville, Hampshire. The Role:

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Teach A-Level Physics (KS5) to students with a strong interest in Science, helping them develop an in-depth understanding of key concepts and principles
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Tailor lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students, ensuring that all learners are supported and able to achieve their academic goals
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing detailed feedback and guidance to help them improve and succeed in examinations
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department and wider school community to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting extracurricular activities and fostering a positive, inclusive environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Physics at A-Level (KS5), with a strong understanding of the subject and a passion for inspiring students
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Is committed to the academic and personal development of students, helping them achieve their full potential in Physics
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team in a school that values respect, community, and high standards
