Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a PE Teacher to join a vibrant and energetic secondary school in Basingstoke. The school highly prefers a female candidate but will consider male applicants who meet the requirements. This is a permanent role, offering the chance to inspire students and promote a love for physical activity.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-energy PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to all abilities.
  • Encourage teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude towards fitness.
  • Organise and support extracurricular sports activities, competitions, and school events.
  • Contribute to the wider school ethos of promoting health and well-being.

Who We Are Looking For:

✔️ Must have QTSPE specialism required.
✔️ Experience coaching or leading extracurricular sports is advantageous.
✔️ Ability to inspire and engage students in a range of physical activities.
✔️ Passion for promoting student well-being through sport and fitness.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
