Job description

Job Title: One to One Tutor Maths and English

Location:

West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one tutoring in Mathematics and English
  • Create personalised learning plans based on individual student needs
  • Deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or related field

Education:

Degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage student progress effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
