Location: Burnley
Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £120 - £140 per day
Start Date: 6th January 2025

We are currently seeking a qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our little learners.

Role Overview: As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Early Years educators in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0 – 4 year olds. You will assist in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that encourages children's development and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote children's physical, social, and emotional development.

-          Assist with daily routines, including meal times, personal care, and nap times.

-          Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.

-          Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher.

-          Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.

-          Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

-          Early Years Qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years).

-          Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.

-          Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

-          Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

-          Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for engaging young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
