Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with primary schools located in the Stoke area looking for a Newly Qualified Teacher. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and passionate team that provide a positive and nurturing environment for young pupils. This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to start their teaching career and gain invaluable experience within an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school.

  • Full-time opportunity starting in September
  • School is in a great location with excellent transport links between Congleton and Crewe
  • Opportunity to earn £30k

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver interactive and engaging lessons which suit the needs of the students in your class
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students
  • Consistently monitor and assess student progress through observations and assessments
  • Liaise with other members of staff and parents regarding the progress of the students
  • Maintain effective classroom management and encourage positive behaviour using the school’s behaviour policies

What we are looking for:

  • Newly qualified teacher status (QTS) or in the process of completing a PGCE
  • Excellent communication an interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and best teaching practices

To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
