Mentoring and Pupil Support Officer

The successful candidate will work with the Intervention Officer to improve the behaviour and welfare of pupils through the effective use of an inclusion unit. He or she will help ensure targeted pupils receive appropriate support and guidance so that they avoid exclusion and can make progress in their learning.
- fully understand the inclusive ethos of the school
- be passionate about improving the life chances of all pupils
- be experienced at working with vulnerable or disaffected students
- Have knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy
Experience of working in a school setting
Experience of administrative work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
