Maths Teacher – Tameside – Immediate Start
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity? A secondary school in Tameside is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to start immediately in a full-time, long-term role. This position is ideal for a committed educator who can engage students, boost their confidence in numeracy, and help them achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured KS3 and KS4 Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum, catering to students of varying abilities.
- Prepare students for their GCSE exams, providing focused intervention sessions to close attainment gaps.
- Use a variety of innovative teaching methods to make Maths engaging, relevant, and accessible.
- Monitor and assess student progress, using data-driven approaches to provide targeted support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum plans and teaching strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all students feel supported and encouraged to excel.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification in Mathematics.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 level, with a strong understanding of the GCSE syllabus.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A creative and adaptable teaching style, ensuring lessons are both engaging and effective.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with fellow educators.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
