Job description

Maths Teacher Needed – Bolton & Bury Area – Starting ASAP

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join secondary schools across the Bolton and Bury area, starting as soon as possible. If you're an experienced teacher with a UK QTS, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' education.

About the Role: As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire a love for mathematics. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop essential skills and confidence in the subject. The role includes planning lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths to students at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Create lesson plans that cater to varying abilities.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance curriculum development.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students in Maths.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
