Qualified Maths teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher, eager to inspire and challenge students? We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Rochdale from Easter 2025.

About the Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. You will be responsible for:

• Teaching a diverse range of students with varying abilities, ensuring all students progress
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and build a love of Mathematics
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve teaching strategies and resources
• Contributing to extracurricular activities, such as Maths clubs or revision sessions

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A deep passion for Mathematics and a desire to share this enthusiasm with students
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging
• A commitment to student development and continuous professional growth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
