We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Role Overview:
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching staff and enhancing the learning experience for our students. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, assist with classroom management, and provide one-on-one support to students who may need additional help in mathematics.

Salary: £1600 to £1900 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering effective maths lessons.
  • Support students in understanding mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources for lessons.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on student performance.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
