Future Teachers – Graduate Teaching Assistant Central Manchester

Working in partnership with a national teaching school in Greater Manchester, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit three Graduate Teaching Assistants who are considering a future career as a teacher. If you are interested in pursuing a role in the education sector, this is the ideal role for you to gain relevant experience in advance of taking on a teacher training programme.

Through Teaching Personnel’s ‘Future Teachers Programme’, graduates who are confident and motivated for a role in a secondary school or college will embark on a year’s programme as a Teaching Assistant to support within one of our partner secondary schools. The successful graduates will gain relevant school-based experience and a wide range of skills on how to perform administrative tasks, work with students in small groups and cover lessons.

• Full time graduate teaching assistant opportunities within our Future Teachers Programme
• Earn up to £1750 per month whilst gaining vital experience prior to taking on a teaching training programme

• 12 month programme and graduate scheme as a teaching assistant with the chance to secure a position on a teacher training programme

Working with schools and colleges in Levenshulme, Chorlton, Didsbury, Stretford, Trafford and Altrincham and Sale mean that there are a number of well-located options for the successful graduates.

This is a great opportunity to develop your own subject knowledge whilst supporting and assisting students in these areas and subjects. You will gain experience in working with students with special educational needs, covering lessons in the absence of the teacher as well as get a feel for how to plan lessons and create resources accordingly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
