Job Description:
As a Lesson Supervisor, you will oversee classroom activities during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and maintain a positive learning environment. You will manage behavior, deliver pre-set lessons, and provide support where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities in the absence of the teacher
• Assist students with their learning tasks and answer any queries
• Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies
• Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school environment or working with young people is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to stay calm, flexible, and proactive in different situations
• Genuine interest in education and working with students
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
