Job Description:
As a Lesson Supervisor, you will oversee classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students stay engaged and on-task. Your key role is to manage behavior, deliver pre-set lessons, and offer support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lessons, maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities
• Assist students with their learning and answer any queries related to tasks
• Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies
• Report back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and any issues
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people or in a school environment is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Calm, adaptable, and able to respond effectively in different situations
• A genuine interest in education and student development
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (or hold a current, valid one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
