Salary: £85 - £100 per day based on experience

Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to work full-time in a welcoming and dynamic secondary school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the academic and personal development of students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support students’ progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students’ social and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).
  • A patient, understanding, and empathetic nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to different learning needs.
  • An enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
