Job Advert: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – South Wirral

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a school in South Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working in schools who is passionate about supporting students' learning and development.

Start date: Monday 24th February 2025 

The Role:

  • Supporting students with their learning, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.

  • Providing additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or those who require extra help to achieve their full potential.

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Helping with classroom management and behaviour support when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school setting is essential.

  • A passion for education and supporting young people.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • A patient and nurturing approach to learning support.

  • Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
