Job Title: KS3 SEN Intervention Tutor

Location: England, Greater London, Upminster

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored Maths and English intervention sessions to KS3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans to address specific learning challenges
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SEN coordinators to support students' overall academic development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Maths and English curriculum for KS3

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching Maths and English to students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEN support strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to track student progress effectively

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students in their homes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
