Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Intervention Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide targeted English and Maths intervention support to KS3 students
- Deliver outreach tutoring sessions in a one-on-one or small group setting
- Create personalised learning plans to address students' specific needs and learning goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge in English and Maths at KS3 level
- Experience in providing intervention support to students
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of the KS3 curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students effectively
- Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in educational institutions or community outreach centres
- Potential travel within the Greater London area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
