Location: Macclesfield
Contract Type: Fixed Term (1 year, with potential for permanency)

Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience and qualifications

A highly reputable Multi Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their vibrant team in Macclesfield. The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress to ensure every child achieves their potential.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate experience of teaching within Key Stage 2 (essential).
  • Possess excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Show evidence of strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Be committed to their own professional development and have a reflective approach to teaching practice.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
