The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a supportive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress to ensure every child achieves their potential.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrate experience of teaching within Key Stage 2 (essential).
- Possess excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the national curriculum.
- Show evidence of strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
- Be committed to their own professional development and have a reflective approach to teaching practice.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
