Location: Macclesfield
Contract Type: Fixed Term (1 year, with potential for permanency)
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience and qualifications

An esteemed Multi Academy Trust, renowned for its commitment to educational excellence, is seeking an exceptional Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join the team at one of its highly regarded schools in Macclesfield.

This role is offered on an initial 1-year fixed-term basis, starting in January 2025, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance and mutual agreement.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver a dynamic and engaging KS1 curriculum, fostering a love of learning in pupils.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.
  • Actively engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to promote a strong partnership in children’s education.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant experience teaching in KS1.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and its effective delivery.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Show a commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for enhancing educational outcomes.
  • Display resilience, creativity, and a proactive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Have a proven track record of supporting students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
