An esteemed Multi Academy Trust, renowned for its commitment to educational excellence, is seeking an exceptional Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join the team at one of its highly regarded schools in Macclesfield.
This role is offered on an initial 1-year fixed-term basis, starting in January 2025, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance and mutual agreement.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver a dynamic and engaging KS1 curriculum, fostering a love of learning in pupils.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
- Assess and track student progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.
- Actively engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to promote a strong partnership in children’s education.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant experience teaching in KS1.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and its effective delivery.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Show a commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for enhancing educational outcomes.
- Display resilience, creativity, and a proactive approach to teaching and learning.
- Have a proven track record of supporting students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
