Job description

Job Title: KS2 Outreach Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Bicknacre

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide academic support to Key Stage 2 students in the East of England area.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to individual student needs.
  • Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant teaching qualification or significant tutoring experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching or tutoring Key Stage 2 students preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging educational materials and resources.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in Special Education or related areas.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule.
  • Work primarily in a home or educational setting.
  • Potential travel to student homes or other locations for tutoring sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
