The Role:
As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s IT systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-line IT support to staff and students.
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of the school’s IT network.
- Assisting with the setup and maintenance of classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards and projectors.
- Managing user accounts and resolving access issues.
- Supporting the IT Manager in the implementation of new systems and projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- A good understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
- Experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible attitude towards work.
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities in a school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
