Salary: £400-£450 per week

Are you a recent graduate looking to embark on your new career into secondary education. Teaching Personnel could be the answer you’re looking for. This full-time position begins in Easter and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role, depending on performance. 

Key responsibilities

• Provide small group and one-to-one support to students with unique needs, including SEN (Special Educational Needs) or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons by adapting strategies to meet each students’ diverse needs.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, pastoral teams and SEN coordinators to discuss and implement individual support plans.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate in teaching or related field.
• Demonstrate passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
• Experience working within an education sector (desirable but not essential).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with both students and staff.
• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
• Provide at least two professional employment references.
