Graduate Trainee Teaching Assistant
Do you have a passion for education and a desire to begin your teaching career?
We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join Teaching Personnel.
We partner with a wide range of Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools across the North East; however, for this role, we are specifically seeking candidates who can travel to Secondary schools in the Durham area.
This is an ideal opportunity for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in education before pursuing a PGCE or teacher training.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Supporting behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Providing tailored one-on-one support to students when required
• Assisting with administrative tasks and classroom preparation
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in any subject
• A strong interest in working with young people and supporting their education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
