Future Teachers Programme – Graduate Teacher Internship

Are you a graduate aspiring to become a secondary school teacher? Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Graduate Scheme offers a 12-month paid internship designed to help you gain vital classroom experience before starting your teacher training.

Programme Details:

  • Start Date: September 2025 (immediate starts also available)
  • Location: Greater Manchester (Manchester, Stockport, Salford, Trafford, Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham)
  • Salary: £1,500 – £1,700 per month (Year 1) rising to £25,000 in your training year

Your Role:

  • Work full-time as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary school
  • Support pupils in your subject area (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or MFL)
  • Assist with lesson planning, deliver small group tuition, and cover classes
  • Gain valuable experience to prepare for your PGCE or teacher training

Who Can Apply?
We’re seeking graduates who are passionate about teaching and available to work full-time from September 2025 to July 2026. Applicants must have completed their degree by August 2025.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
