Future Teachers Programme – Graduate Teacher Internship

Are you a graduate considering a career in secondary education?

Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Graduate Scheme offers 12 months of paid school experience as a Cover Supervisor before you begin formal teacher training.

Programme details:
• Start Date: September 2025
• Location: Greater Manchester (Manchester, Stockport, Salford, Trafford, Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham)
• Salary: £1500–£1700/month (Year 1), rising to £25,000 during your training year

What you’ll do:
• Work full-time in a secondary school, supporting pupils in your subject area
• Assist with lesson planning and preparation
• Deliver small group tuition and cover classes
• Gain hands-on classroom experience while improving your subject knowledge

Who can apply:
Graduates with degrees in Maths, Science, English, Humanities, MFL, or similar, who want to pursue a teaching career starting September 2025. Full-time availability is required (Monday–Friday, 8:15am–3:00pm).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
