Calling all Graduates! Teaching Personnel are working with multiple Secondary schools in Sheffield that are in high demand for classroom supervisors to create a pool of regular staff to use on a day to day basis for any staffing and cover needs for this next academic year
The role is ideal for:
- Graduates looking for experience in schools before applying for a PGCE or Teacher Training programme
- Youth workers or candidates experienced working with young adults
- PE/Sports Coaches
What the role entails:
- As a Classroom Supervisor you will be required to go into lessons where the class teacher is absent to lead and deliver the pre-planned lesson
- All classwork will be left for you and you may have support staff within the lesson to help
- Ensure students are engaged and on task
- Strong behaviour management skills due to the nature of the role in accordance to school behaviour policies
