Graduate Cover Supervisor

About the Role:

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will be instrumental in supporting students' learning across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their studies in the absence of the regular teacher. Managing classroom behaviour, supporting student engagement, and creating a positive learning environment are essential aspects of this role.

This position is well-suited for graduates exploring a career in education, experienced LSAs ready to expand their classroom management skills, or unqualified teachers building experience. You will have the chance to work closely with teaching staff, refine your classroom skills, and gain invaluable insight into the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and delivering pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, covering various age groups and abilities.
• Ensuring a positive classroom environment that supports students' learning and maintaining classroom behaviour.
• Engaging with students, encouraging participation, and helping them understand the lesson material.
• Adhering to the school’s policies on behaviour and learning to ensure an orderly classroom atmosphere.

Position Details:

• Both full-time and part-time roles are available to suit your availability.
