General Teacher – KS2 & KS3 (SEMH School, New Forest)

Location: New Forest, Hampshire

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full-time (with potential for permanent placement)

Salary: Based on job role and teacher pay scale

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Teacher to work across Key Stages 2 and 3 in a Specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in the beautiful New Forest. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils with additional needs while providing stability and continuity in their education.

About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching role across KS2 & KS3
  • All lesson plans and resources provided
  • Opportunity to transition into a permanent contract later in the academic year
  • Work closely with pupils to build strong relationships and support their individual learning needs
  • Play a key role in maintaining consistency and structure within the school environment

About You:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
  • Experience working with pupils with additional needs, ideally in an SEMH or SEND setting
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
  • Ideally, you will be local to the New Forest or have access to your own transport, as the school is not easily accessible via public transport
  • Ability to work as part of a supportive and dynamic team
