Food Tech Teacher
A highly regarded Secondary SEMH School in Southampton is seeking a qualified and experienced Food Tech Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position later in the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a small school with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality education and support to pupils with special educational needs.
Position Overview:
- Role: Food Tech Teacher
- Location: Secondary SEMH School, Southampton
- Contract Type: Temporary, with potential for a permanent role later in the academic year
- Start Date: ASAP
- Employment Through: Teaching Personnel
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English lessons, tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning needs and promote positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the school's team to provide a supportive and structured learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring each pupil is supported to achieve their full potential
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
- Prior experience working with students with special educational needs or SEMH in a teaching or support role
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of SEND pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
