Functional Skills Maths & English Tutor – Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (£25-£30 per hour)

Are you a passionate tutor with experience in Functional Skills Maths and English? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated tutor to support learners in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Functional Skills Maths & English Tutor to provide high-quality tuition to students who require additional support. This role involves delivering engaging and structured lessons to help learners develop essential skills and achieve their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group tuition in Functional Skills Maths and English (Entry Level to Level 2).

  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.

  • Support students with exam preparation and coursework.

  • Track progress and provide feedback to help learners stay on target.

  • Foster confidence and engagement in learning through interactive teaching methods.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in teaching or tutoring Functional Skills Maths and English.

  • Experience working with a range of learners, including adults and those with additional support needs.

  • A patient, adaptable, and engaging teaching style.

  • A recognised teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.

  • Ability to work both in-person (Mansfield and surrounding areas) and online.
