The Role:
The Executive Principal will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic leadership and vision to drive improvement and maintain the school’s high standards.
- Overseeing the implementation of the school’s curriculum, ensuring a broad, balanced, and inclusive approach.
- Leading and inspiring the senior leadership team, staff, and students to foster a culture of excellence and continuous development.
- Ensuring the school meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
- Developing strong relationships with the local community, parents, and external partners.
- Managing budgets effectively to ensure sustainable growth and development.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant leadership qualification (e.g., NPQH, NPQEL, or equivalent).
- Have a proven track record of successful senior leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire all stakeholders.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of current educational policies, curriculum developments, and safeguarding practices.
- Be committed to promoting a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high aspirations.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of leading across multiple settings or within a multi-academy trust.
- Demonstrated success in driving school improvement and raising attainment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
