We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across Havant, Waterlooville, and Portsmouth. What is a Cover Supervisor?

A Cover Supervisor steps in to manage a classroom when the regular teacher is absent. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, maintaining order, and ensuring students stay engaged with their learning. Although this role doesn't involve planning or marking, it requires strong classroom management and communication skills to ensure a smooth learning experience for the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a focused learning environment
  • Support students in completing their work according to the teacher’s instructions
  • Provide feedback on student progress to the absent teacher
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
