Job Title: Cover Supervisor

North West England, Cheshire, Macclesfield

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure student participation
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage student behaviour effectively
  • Provide support to students in their learning tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour
  • Basic understanding of educational principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following the school calendar and schedule. You may be required to work with students of various ages and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
