Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools)
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Start Date: October 2024
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Fleet, starting from September 2024. This role offers both full-time and part-time positions, depending on your availability.

As a Cover Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include delivering pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will manage classroom behaviour, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure that lessons run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher.

This position is well-suited for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to students in various subjects and year groups.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide support to students during lessons and maintain school behaviour policies.
  • Assist with additional classroom duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • UK residency (this advert is only open to UK residents).
  • A passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility to teach across different subjects and year groups.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
