About the School: The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor specialising in PE to join its team. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that pupils remain on task with pre-set activities.

Maintain a safe and positive learning environment in the classroom.

Implement the school’s behaviour policy effectively, fostering a culture of respect and achievement.

Support the school’s mission to improve attendance and engagement among pupils.

Provide assistance to students with additional needs, including those with SEND and SEMH requirements.
What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.

A flexible and adaptable approach, ready to take on various classroom roles as needed.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

An understanding of the challenges facing secondary education, particularly in relation to behaviour management and student engagement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
