Job Duties:

• Supervise and manage classroom activities when the regular teacher is absent
• Implement the lesson plans left by the teacher and ensure a productive learning environment
• Maintain discipline and manage student behaviour effectively
• Provide support and assistance to students in their learning activities
• Keep accurate records of student attendance and report any issues to the appropriate staff

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics
• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent

Experience:

Experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage and supervise classroom activities
• Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher education qualifications in Education or related field
• Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor experience

Working Conditions:

• Work in a school environment
• Full-Time hours
• Contract position
