Location: Denton, Greater Manchester
Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale, £31,650- £49,084 per annum.
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Fully Qualified Computer Science Teacher for a well-established secondary school in Denton. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position, giving you the opportunity to prove yourself in a supportive school environment before securing a permanent role.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer science and the ability to inspire students to develop their skills in this rapidly evolving subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons in Computer Science in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback
- Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting student engagement
- Collaborating with other staff members and the school leadership team
- Keeping up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science education
- Supporting students’ progress both inside and outside the classroom
Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Computer Science Teacher with UK QTS
- Previous experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate about teaching and inspiring students in the field of Computer Science
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel can assist if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
