Location: Denton, Greater Manchester

Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale, £31,650- £49,084 per annum.

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Fully Qualified Computer Science Teacher for a well-established secondary school in Denton. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position, giving you the opportunity to prove yourself in a supportive school environment before securing a permanent role.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer science and the ability to inspire students to develop their skills in this rapidly evolving subject.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality lessons in Computer Science in line with the National Curriculum
• Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback
• Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting student engagement
• Collaborating with other staff members and the school leadership team
• Keeping up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science education
• Supporting students’ progress both inside and outside the classroom

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Computer Science Teacher with UK QTS
• Previous experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring students in the field of Computer Science
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel can assist if needed)
