Computing Teacher – Secondary School, Oldham (Immediate Start or January start)

Are you a passionate Computing Teacher looking for your next exciting role? We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Computing Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to inspire and engage students with the rapidly evolving world of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in Computing and ICT.
  • Encourage students to develop practical and theoretical skills in areas such as programming, digital literacy, and information technology.
  • Plan and assess learning activities that cater to a variety of learning needs and abilities.
  • Inspire students to appreciate the impact of technology in the modern world and develop their digital skills.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the department to develop engaging curriculum content.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Computing or ICT at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for fostering creativity through technology.
  • A commitment to helping students progress academically and personally.
  • A valid DBS (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
