Full-Time Teaching Assistant Role – KS2 Behaviour Support
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant for a full-time position supporting Key Stage 2 pupils with challenging behaviour. This rewarding opportunity is based in a supportive primary school in Bispham and starts in January.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with challenging behaviours
- Implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress
- Encouraging a safe and inclusive learning environment

- Experience working with children who display challenging behaviour (in or out of a school setting)
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- A commitment to supporting the wellbeing and progress of all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
