Position: Teaching Assistant for Behaviour Support.

Location: Primary School in Chorley, Lancashire.

Year Group: Mixed

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 15.15pm

Rate of Pay: Competitive £11.85 - £12.50 per hour

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant for Behaviour Support, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere for our students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 support to a Year 4 student, helping them manage and regulate their behaviour effectively.
• Implementing tailored strategies to support the student's emotional and behavioural development.
• Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to create a holistic support plan.
• Assisting in the creation and adaptation of resources to meet the student's specific needs.
• Celebrating the student's achievements and progress, promoting a sense of accomplishment and self-worth.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an individual who is dedicated, patient, and compassionate. While previous experience in working with children who display challenging behaviour is desirable, we also value your commitment to making a positive impact. Key qualifications include:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
