SEN Teaching Assistant – Start June 2025 | Fleetwood
Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire
Start Date: June 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (potential to become permanent)
Salary: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Fleetwood, who are seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in June 2025.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties

Supporting learning in class, as well as delivering targeted interventions

Promoting emotional regulation and social development
-
Working closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement EHCPs

✅ You Will Need:

Experience working with children, ideally those with SEN (within a school or alternative setting)

A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
Desirable:

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)

Team Teach or other behaviour management training
