Teaching Assistant (Speech and Language Support) – Full Time – Blackpool
Location: Blackpool
Position: Teaching Assistant – Speech and Language Support
Year Group: Year 5
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £77–£90 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support to two children in Year 5 with identified speech and language delays.
The Role:
This rewarding position involves working closely with the class teacher and the school’s SEND team to deliver tailored interventions and 1:1 support that will aid the pupils' communication, confidence, and overall learning progress. You’ll play a vital role in helping these pupils access the curriculum, develop their language skills, and thrive socially and academically.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties (desirable)

A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and specialists

A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
